In my design practice, I translate my fascinations for human and natural histories and biological morphology, into wearable pieces, installations and performances. My research is grounded in the idea that culture is in continuation of nature, instead of being in opposition to it. By weaving together human and biological narratives in my work, I aim to convey how interconnected they are. The immaterial value of garments is a key theme in a lot of my work. The garments that I find in my research and their emotional value often function as metaphors in my projects, becoming the medium between the natural and the cultural.
